Ingredients

  • 500 g aged beef
  • 400 g soaked chickpeas
  • 5 tomatoes
  • 300 ml chicken broth
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion
  • 400 g canned tomatoes
  • Oil
  • Cumin
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Khmelis Suneli spice mix
  • Oil

Recipe

  1. Prepare the Kamado BONO grill for direct cooking: light the charcoal, place the stainless steel grates, and wait until the temperature reaches 180 degrees Celsius. Close the top and bottom vents to maintain a consistent temperature.
  2. Pour oil into a pot and add the beef cut into strips. Sear the meat, then add onion rings, followed by diced fresh tomatoes and canned tomatoes.
  3. Season with spices and garlic, and mix well.
  4. Add soaked chickpeas, pour in the broth, and stew for about 1 hour.
