Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken mid-wing sections
  • “Original BBQ RUB” spice mix
  • Blue cheese sauce
  • Fresh carrots
  • Cucumbers
  • Celery stalks
  • Fresh parsley
  • Poppamies Wings Sauce

Recipe

  1. Rub the chicken wings with the “Original BBQ RUB” spice mix and let them rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  2. Prepare the Kamado BONO grill for indirect cooking: light the charcoal, place the stainless steel grill grate, and wait until the temperature rises to 180°C.
  3. Close the top and bottom air vents to maintain an even temperature. Cook the chicken wings for approximately 30–40 minutes. During or after cooking, brush the wings with Wings Sauce.
  4. Sprinkle the wings with chopped parsley. They pair perfectly with your favourite julienned vegetables and a side of Blue Cheese dipping sauce.
